“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.”
Luke 10:17.
That was the same experience from the practical evangelism outreach last week Saturday at our Abuja School of Evangelism at Champion Faith International Church under the leadership of the charming and charismatic Apostle Godspower Udjor, my friend and brother for the past three decades.
In Luke 15:7, Jesus said that there is joy in heaven over one sinner who repents more than over 99 just persons who need no repentance. That actually came out of the mouth of Jesus. It shows that heaven places premium on one sinner who repents than on over 99 just persons who need no repentance. This is supposed to recalibrate our value system.
Last week, we didn’t get just one sinner to repent. We had 139. I am very certain that the explosion of joy in heaven must have lingered for a while. Nothing gives joy in heaven and joy in the believer than when one sinner repents.
This is why I am passionate about bringing our School of Evangelism to your church, your city, your country and your community. I love to see the believers return with joy knowing that the devils are subject to them. I love to give heaven one more reason to explode in joy because of one sinner who repents.
